About MNM Tyres
MNM Tyres is a mobile tyre fitting and roadside assistance business covering the UK. We do not have a waiting room, because the whole point is that you never sit in one. The van carries the tyres, the balancer, the compressor, the lighting and the tooling, and the job is done wherever the vehicle already is.
Almost every new car sold in the last decade left the factory without a spare wheel. That single change is why mobile fitting stopped being a convenience and became, for a lot of drivers, the only realistic option - because the alternative is recovering a car that could have been back on the road in half an hour.
How we work
Three things we are strict about
We quote honest arrival times
Coverage and speed are two different claims and we keep them apart. We cover the UK. We only quote an arrival window where we run our own van or have a named partner, and every one of those windows is an estimate rather than a promise. A blanket “20 minutes anywhere” would be easy to write and impossible to keep.
The price is the price
What we quote is what you pay. The £49 headline already contains the tyre, the fitting, the balancing, the valve, the disposal, the call-out and VAT. There is no separate call-out fee, no disposal charge and no night rate added at the end.
We will tell you not to buy
If a puncture is repairable we repair it, which is cheaper than a tyre. If it sits in the sidewall or the shoulder we will tell you it cannot be repaired, and why. If a vibration is a buckled rim rather than a balance problem, balancing it again will not fix it and we are not going to charge you to find that out twice.
Standards
What a job actually involves
Not a list of promises - a description of the work, so you can hold us to it.
- The wheel comes off and the rim is checked for buckling and bead-seat corrosion before anything new goes on it.
- A new valve is fitted with every new tyre. A reused rubber valve is a slow leak waiting to happen.
- Every wheel is machine balanced on the van, not fitted and hoped for.
- Wheels are torqued to the manufacturer figure with a calibrated wrench, never a rattle gun.
- Repairs are carried out to BS AU 159 - the tyre comes off the rim and the inside of the casing is inspected. We do not fit external plugs.
- The old tyre leaves with us for recycling. That is included, not extra.
