Tyre sealant instead of a spare
Many recent Corsas and Astras are supplied with a sealant canister and compressor rather than a spare or even a space-saver. Owners frequently do not discover this until they are already at the roadside. Sealant will not fix a sidewall, a shoulder or anything much over a few millimetres across, and it expires - check the date on yours now rather than later.
Vivaro and Movano
Vauxhall light commercials need C-rated tyres rated for laden weight. The Vivaro in particular is often run at or near its limit by trades, and underinflation on a loaded van destroys the shoulders quickly and quietly.
